Everyone is welcome regardless of your sexuality, gender, age, status, height, color, college major or athletic ability. We believe in inclusivity not exclusivity. In short, if you want to have fun and play, join us! We respect all players identities and encourage everyone to express themselves as they wish.
Do I Have to Be Queer+/LGBTQAI+?
Nope! Everyone is welcome!
Do I have to be Athletic?
No! The only requirement is that you have to want to play. Every game has rules. Everyone brings different skills to the table. No one is perfect, and give yourself some grace to learn and grow.
1st Timers / New to Adult Athletics are equally welcomed by our staff. We will do our best to help you get situated. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’re not afraid to answer them.

There are no try-outs for our leagues. Anyone may sign up for the league, providing there are spots. Weekly practices are not mandatory, though in some cities there are options available, just ask. If you have questions about the game, just email us!

OutLoud Sports uses our own specific rules for Kickball and Dodgeball (a version of USA Dodgeball rules), while generally all other games follow a standardized rulebook for play. Our staff is well versed in our rules and can help you with any questions. We want you to have fun, learn the game, and improve!

OutLoud Sports encourages every player to express themselves as they wish. We do not require you to wear our OutLoud Sports shirts while playing. Many of our leagues do provide comfortable, printed league shirts, but wearing them is optional.
Captains are encouraged to ask League Managers for help if they are uncertain how to design a look, or where to purchase affordable shirts/jerseys.
Metal cleats, offensive/prejudicial logos/language, or basic public nudity are not allowed.

All OutLoud programming is presented in three tiers: Early Bird, Regular and Late Fee. League price points vary from league to league and city to city. Some leagues are a one time fee, while others are a pay as you go program. We strive to have the lowest price points while giving as much back to our players as possible.

The league has active registration throughout the year. To find out when you can register, check out your local city.
You can also join any of our cities Facebook Groups to get up to date information about leagues and events.
When you register, you have three choices: Captain, Team Player, or Group/Free Agent.
Team Captain: You want to build your own team of players and lead them to victory!
Team Players: You know what team you are supposed to be on and want to directly register for that team.
Free Agent: You want to play, but don't currently have a team? Free Agent means you are a solo players and we will randomly assign you to a team. You can also join with a small group of friends!
Can I Play With A Friend?: Yes! When you register, you can create a small group or make note that you want to play with a specific person.

Every city has its own registration page. You can click through the website to find the corresponding page, or you can click here and you’ll be taken to the city’s registration page.

Most leagues allow subs to play. You can post on the Facebook Group about your availability, or, reach out to the League Manager and let them know your interest. Subs are required to understand the rules of the league, sign a league waiver, and pay a sub fee to participate.

If any player behaves in a manner that is unsportsmanlike, violent, aggressive, or dangerous to other players due to physical impairment from alcohol or drugs, the players will be ejected from the league without refund. Our policy includes all behavior at league games or OLS sponsored events.
If a player misses more than 2 unreported games (meaning informing your teammate/league) or 3 games (excused or otherwise) your teammates/team/league may replace you, without refund, at the league's best discretion.

Players are ineligible for a refund once they complete registration. Please keep this in mind before you commit. You have been warned so please do not ask for an exception.

Life happens and we understand. If you have to miss a game, please let your captain know, in advance, so they may find necessary subs.
A player is allowed to miss 2 games (without notification), or 3 games (notifying captain). If a players misses more of either, the captain may remove the player from the league, without refund.

A typical season is 8 weeks long. Some leagues vary from 6 weeks to 10 weeks. Leagues will have a regular season and a playoff season within established league window.
Generally, you will have one game per week. Some leagues may have more.
